Diet Challenges are usually all about what you can’t eat rather than what you can eat.
Diet actually means “the kinds of food that a person, animal, or community habitually eats”
If you eat a lot of take out, pizza, Chinese etc or don’t eat your veg or fruit, consume lots of sugary drinks, you have an unhealthy diet.
What if you could see a change from a self-experiment?
I have been advising my clients to eat Slowly and mindfully.
Why? Because we all know your brain and belly don’t have that instant communication between each other. So next time you’re eating, get rid of the distractions. Chew your food slowly, put your knife and fork down and actually taste the food rather than running the risk of giving yourself indigestion.
I appreciate we all have busy lives and we all don’t have the luxury of time when it comes to eating. But if you’re wanting to make changes, maybe loose that one or two pounds still left over from Christmas, give this a try for the next 30 days and see how you get on.
Be sure to let me know how you get on.
What have you got to loose from trying something different?
